As a Solutions Architect turned Technology Leader, Stephen Hampton has a passion for Networking and an enthusiasm for disruptive technology.
Following a successful career spanning finance, insurance, service provider, public sector and higher education, Stephen possesses a track record in the successful design and implementation of large-scale data centre networks and service provider environments.
With an ability to balance technology with executive, strategic and leadership skills, Stephen has been responsible for the creation and growth of technical practice areas and the development of HN’s hybrid-cloud platform, Fabrix. This has been achieved through technical expertise, maintenance of both C-level and vendor relationships, as well as the nurturing of technical talent.
Alongside holding an MSc in Computing Mathematics, Stephen has been a CCIE (#22474) since 2008 and is actively working on new skills such as F5 and network automation. In parallel, Stephen continues to provide technical leadership by advocating the adoption of software-defined solutions, as well as infrastructure virtualisation and automation.
