As Hutchinson Networks’ Head of Projects, David Sewell leads the Project Management Team towards delivering bespoke client-based solutions to the highest standard.
David retired from the Military in 2016, after literally rising through the ranks of the British Army from Private to Captain. Since transitioning into the commercial IT sector, he has been applying his military experiences and skills to the teams he has led, always pushing himself to excel in whatever projects he applies himself to. Since leaving the Armed Forces, David has led multiple high-level technical projects for some international organisations, including a secure solutions assignment for Hewlett Packard Enterprises, and the rollout of next-generation wifi from wireless firm PureLifi.
David has developed particular strengths in problem-solving and change management, and with Hutchinson Networks going through a period of change and growth, he will ensure that the client is not affected during this time. Longer term, David will continue to maintain a client first approach, and continue to drive the project team to deliver solutions within time, budget and to the best standards.
David was a qualified Mental Health Practitioner, with qualifications in areas such as EMDR, CBT, and although he no longer provides treatment, he uses his knowledge to support and develop governance for numerous charities who act to support veterans.
